Ballet of York County Premiers Original Fairy Tale Ballet “Jack and the Beanstalk” May 14th-18th
Rock Hill, SC (April 8, 2025)- Ballet of York County, a 501.c3 nonprofit classical ballet school and performing company, will present the ballet production “Jack and the Beanstalk” May 14th-18th. The community is invited to experience this heartwarming retelling of a classic fairy tale brought to life through dance and music. Featuring over 120 student performers, this live original production will premier in York County, SC and showcase classical ballet, tap and modern dance.

“At the end of July, Ballet of York County (BYC) will celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our first class, held outdoors at the Anne Springs Close Greenway, after the closure of York County Ballet due to the pandemic. In celebration of this milestone, we are ending our 2024-25 dance season with a brand new production that brings a fresh, modern and uplifting take on a classic fairy tale! BYC has only been able to begin and flourish over the last few years due to the tremendous outpouring of support from our amazing community.
